Description

TURBO™ 117U is unsupported silicone rubber tubing produced from a custom formulated methyl-vinyl polysiloxane silicone rubber. TURBO 117U exhibits excellent electrical and mechanical properties and it retains its flexibility over a wide temperature range. TURBO 117U is easily dilated to fit over irregular shapes and will subsequently shrink to a close fit over the underlying component.

Recomended Use

TURBO™ 117U is recommended for insulation of irregular shaped leads, connections and components such as coils, relays, solenoids, etc, where extreme temperature variations are encountered. Silicone rubber is the only flexible insulating material which remains useful for continuous service in ambient temperatures from -70 ° C through 200 ° C

TURBO™ 117U is available in continuous spooled lengths or cut lengths in NEMA sizes #24 – ¾”, as listed above.

Colors:TURBO™ 117U is available in white, iron oxide red or natural. Other colors may be available subject to minimum order quantities and/or setup charges.

Silicone rubber tubing is available in a fire retardant version which meets requirements of VW-1 testing. Order as TURBO™ 117U-FR
